The new year is here, and if getting fit is on your list of resolutions for 2012, then you’ll definitely want to join Corona’s own Biggest Loser-inspired weight loss contest! Led by Coach Sol Shapiro with Yoga Guru Leeza Villagomez, each class will begin with discreet weigh-ins, then proceed to classroom-style discussions about nutrition, along with exercise demonstrations. Lighten Up Corona is designed to arm participants with the tools, motivation and accountability needed to drop weight, whether it is “those last 10 pounds” or getting started on a bigger journey. Participants are sure to learn something new about weight loss and taking fitness to a whole new level. Come with a positive attitude and comfortably dressed to do a light workout.
Sponsors will offer FREE services to help you reach your weight reduction and fitness goals. In addition to the workout routines demonstrated and the lifestyle tips and coaching given, everything from free coupons to healthy eateries, personal training sessions, yoga and other fitness classes, passes to the UFC Gym, samples of various weight-loss supplements, massages and chiropractic evaluations have been given away. Participants will learn life skills focused on attaining and maintaining a healthy body weight and activity level. Multiple winners will receive prizes worth over $400 each, based on percentage of reduction in pounds and/or inches. Optional Body Fat Test contest will be made available for an additional cost, with cash prizes for those winners.
